The Florida Supreme Court has permanently disbarred former St. Petersburg lawyer James L. Hunter.
Hunter, who was admitted to practice in 2004, was found in contempt for failing to comply with the terms of a May 2012 disbarment order, according to a written statement from the Florida Bar.
He was required to provide a sworn affidavit to the bar within 30 days of disbarment, providing the names and address of people and entities that were given a copy of his disbarment order.
