Gov. Rick Scott has asked the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration to inspect veterans’ hospitals in the state.
In a letter to Elizabeth Dudek, secretary of AHCA, Scott referred to media report, including reports in the Tampa Tribune, about poor treatment of veterans in the Sunshine Veterans Integrated Service Network hospitals in Florida and the deaths of five veterans.
