Cuba Standard, a Tampa Bay-based online publication, is merging with Miami-based CubaNews.
Cuba Standard, a well-respected source of Cuban business and economic news, and CubaNews will become totally digital as of March, said Johannes Werner, Cuba Standard’s longtime editor, writer and one of its five shareholders.
Werner now is managing editor of both publications and managing partner of Cuba Media LLC, a new company that owns the publications.
Financial details of the merger were not disclosed.
