Scott Smith, who currently is Lake Wales Medical Center CEO, was named the first president of BayCare’s St. Joseph’s Hospital-South.
Under construction and due to open in early 2015, St. Joseph’s Hospital South will provide health care in south Hillsborough County, including Riverview, Apollo Beach, Fish Hawk and Sun City Center.
