She is the first woman elected chair since Quarles & Brady was founded 120 years ago, according to a written statement.
Johnson will lead a Milwaukee-based firm of 445 lawyers in eight U.S. offices while maintaining her trusts and estates practice. She plans to spend half of each month at the two Florida offices.
