Gov. Rick Scott has appointed John Grandoff III to a vacant Tampa Port Authority seat.
Grandoff is a shareholder and co-chair of the land use group at Hill Ward Henderson in Tampa. He is a Tampa history buff and a former board member of the Tampa Bay Area Research and Development Authority.
His term ends in November 2015.
The Florida Senate has to confirm the appointment.
