A preliminary investigation shows that whatever happened to Tampa lawyer Henry W. Hicks when he died while trying to retrieve his powerboat’s anchor, it does not appear to involve alcohol or foul play.
Investigators are waiting for a medical examiner’s report to learn more about the cause and manner of Hicks’ death, said Baryl Martin, public information officer for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission.
