Benderson Development, a well-known commercial real estate firm based in Sarasota, is investing in what is being called a market revival in Worcester, Mass.
The privately held firm bought a 214,000-square-foot building in the city for $76 million. The building is occupied by insurer Unum Group.
The late Nathan Benderson, an icon in Sarasota-Bradenton real estate, planted the seeds for a park in Sarasota that is now home to world class rowing events.
