Legal sparring over Channelside Bay Plaza took another step with a federal court motion filed last week by the Tampa Port Authority, asking a judge to dismiss Liberty Channelside LLC’s December attempt to block the sale.
Last fall, the port authority, which owns the land under the complex, decided to buy Channelside from receiver Irish Bank Resolution Corp. for $5.75 million.
