Brian Adams was named president and CEO of Florida Hospital Tampa, effective Feb. 1.
He succeeds John Harding, who is retiring after 26 years of working with Adventist Health System, according to a written statement.
Adams currently is president and CEO of Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, a position he has had since January 2011. He oversaw construction of the 83-bed, $160 million hospital, which opened on schedule last October. Previously, he held executive positions at Florida Hospital Altamonte.
