Arthur M. Guilford, regional chancellor of the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, plans to retire in January 2015, ending 38 years of working at USF.
He began his career at USF Tampa as an assistant professor of communication sciences and disorders, was chair of the department for 15 years and was appointed regional chancellor in 2007, according to a written statement.
