The U. S. Attorney’s office for the Middle District of Florida collected more than $366 million last fiscal year in criminal, civil and forfeiture actions.
It was a banner year compared to the $138 million total collected in fiscal year 2012, according to a statement from the office, which is based in Tampa.
Criminal cases in 2013 accounted for $30 million, and $290 million was collected in civil actions, according to a written statement from Acting U.S. Attorney A. Lee Bentley.
