It appears the ballyhooed USF Health System has never materialized.
The system was envisioned as a way for the university and providers to partner and form a united front in response to changes in health care. Judy Genshaft, University of South Florida president, announced the system’s creation in her September 2012 State of the University address.
“We have spent a great deal of time formulating this system and expect to be ready to implement it by March 31, 2013,” she said at the time.
