Law firm Band Weintraug has agreed to pay $943,526 to settle a claim related to the Arthur Nadel receivership.
Nadel was a Sarasota hedge fund manager who pleaded guilty in 2010 to securities fraud involving a Ponzi scheme that bilked investors out of $168 million. He died in federal prison while serving a 14-year sentence.
