Southeastern Guide Dogs recently opened the $1.75 million Margaret & Isaac Barpal Veterinary Center at its Palmetto campus. The 5,900-square-foot facility has a custom-designed ventilation system, positive air pressure in the surgical suite and negative pressure in isolation areas to contain pathogens.
