Tampa General Hospital opened a family care center in Riverview this week, adding to the wave of outpatient health care facilities in the area.
TGH’s new center is in the Summerfield Plaza on Big Bend Road and provides primary care to area residents, according to a written statement.
Staffed by two primary care physicians, the center is not a walk-in facility but makes same-day appointments.
TGH has another primary care facility in Brandon and plans to open one in Sun City this year.
