Superior Uniform Group Inc. reported second quarter earnings of $1.4 million, or $0.23 per share, compared to $977,000, or $0.16 per share, in the same quarter a year ago.
Sales were $30.8 million, up from $29.3 million in the comparable 2012 quarter.
Superior Uniform (NASDAQ: SGC), based in Seminole, completed the acquisition of HPI Direct on July 1, adding $230,000 in pre-tax expenses to second quarter results.
