Halliburton named Manatee credit union president

Sherod Halliburton was appointed president of Manatee Community Federal Credit Union. He succeeds Cindy Barco, who retired after 35 years at the credit union, according to a written statement. Halliburton has been executive vice president of MCFCU since February 2012. Previously, he was the executive director of the Bradenton Central Community Redevelopment Agency. MCFCU was founded as Tropicana Employees Federal Credit Union in 1958.
