Two Tampa businessmen indicted in tax fraud scheme

Duane Crithfield and Stephen Donaldson Sr. were indicted by a Tampa federal grand jury and charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States. The two men are accused of promoting, marketing and implementing a fraudulent offshore tax strategy known as the business protection plan from 2001 through March 2008, according to the indictment.
