Sarasota Memorial increases revenue, income drops

Sarasota Memorial Health System reported income of $15.1 million for the six months ended March 31 compared to $25.7 million for the same period in 2012. Total operating revenue increased 1.4 percent from $252.7 million last year to $256.2 million this year, according to a report for bondholders from the Sarasota County Public Hospital District.
