Gov. Rick Scott requested federal approval of Florida’s long-term care and Statewide Medicaid Managed Care plans in a meeting today with Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services secretary.
Scott zeroed in on the projected $26 billion state cost for doubling the number of people in Florida’s Medicaid program, which is part of the Affordable Care Act, according to a written statement from his office.
