USF adds chief diversity officer

Jose E. Hernandez was named to the newly created position of chief diversity officer at the University of South Florida. He will also lead the university’s expanded Office of Diversity and Inclusion, according to a written statement. Hernandez was a USF diversity director from 2002 to 2008 and has been at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since 2008.
