Among industry sectors, health care has experienced the greatest CEO turnover so far this year, with 59 CEO changes announced through March, said Chicago outplacement company Challenger Gray & Christmas Inc. During the same period last year, 63 CEO departures occurred at hospitals and other health care providers.
The company said health care has consistently had the heaviest turnover the past several years and increased 23 percent last year.
