The nearly 800 Universal Health Care Group employees terminated when the company shut down its St. Petersburg operations March 29 are not at a loss for legal advocates.
As of April 3, three different law firms filed lawsuits in federal court on behalf of employees, alleging the company violated provisions of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act and seeking class action status.
