Civil and criminal actions in the Middle District of Florida, based in Tampa, led to the collection of $51 million during last fiscal year.
Nearly $46 million of the total was related to civil cases, according to a written statement from the office of U.S. Attorney Robert O’Neill.
Separately, another $48 million was collected in civil and criminal case forfeitures, and $39 million was recovered in civil fraud settlements.
